General: An Honorary Professor of Oriental Studies at Harvard, this vampire is well-versed in the history and religious practices of the East, as well as being a master of the art of the traditional Japanese tattooist.
Cultural Arts: Amalesh is also known as Horiyoshi the Second, a name he earned in Japan. He's a master of the tebori tattooing process.

Vampire: A Master of the line of the Mother of All Darkness, or as he puts it, a Deva of Kali, Amalesh is a little over five hundred years old. From India, he spent time in Tibet, China, Japan, France and Haiti before moving to the USA. One of the first vampires to openly declare himself after citizenship was awarded, he holds an Honorary Professorship in Oriental Studies and a Doctorate in Computer Science from Harvard, and has been known to give the occasional guest lecture on either topic. Rumour from Boston has it that he's something of a split personality, and while he seems mild-mannered and polite enough, there's a great deal he doesn't say.
