Chance is a Cajun Glass Artisan from New Orleans (obviously) here to settle into a new life.

Chance declared himself to be Nimir-Raj (alongside Ms. Antigone Harlowe) in February 10th, 2008, to replace Mr. Marshal Jamison. A contester, Ms. Tenshi Iees, lost her life in a fight to Chance, while her mate, Mr. Jason Richards, was considered rogue shortly afterwards with a "capture and/or kill" standing order (depending on where he'd be found). Two days later, Jason was found dead. Matthew at that same point was considered dangerous and rogue but was to contact Chance.
As of March 26, 2008, Matthew was deemed "not considered pard"; He was considered an outsider cat in the territory. While his presence in the city would not be challenged, he had no tie to the pard, was not allowed on their grounds, nor was to possess any information from the pard directly. No pard was to aid him upon risk of punishment. On April 3rd, 2008, things came to a head where Matthew and Chance had a dominance fight, resulting in Matthew's death.
As of May 24th, 2008, Chance resigned the post of Nimir-Raj, leaving leadership back to Antigone, and supposedly returning to New Orleans. Died August 13, 2008 (along with Yiska Onocoma) when the Wyld Hunt exploded in flames.
